DALE LEVER – Director

Dale Lever founded Lever Law in 2019 in a bid to create a friendly, professional and easily accessible Law Firm for Durham’s Residents. Dale has undergone extensive training, having studied Law in Leeds before completing an LLM Masters in Sports Law nearer home in Newcastle. ‘My rounded training up to this point allows me to provide the best advice to my clients on a wide range of matters’. Dale was born and raised in Durham and has a strong connection to the local community so he is keen to give back where he can.

In his spare time Dale enjoys keeping fit, aided by his energetic office dog Harvey, as well as skiing and running. Dale enjoys nothing more than exploring the stunning Northumberland coast and travelling when he can.

JADE COORE– Finance and Operations Director

Jade studied Business and Human Resource Management at Leeds University. Upon graduation she volunteered at St Cuthbert’s Hospice working within the HR Office. In 2016 Jade joined Northumbrian Water where she worked within the billing department; before moving on to work within the litigation team. At the start of 2021, Jade joined Lever Law as our finance and operations manager.

Jade is proud to work for the family company. Having managed teams previously she has the right skills and attributes, to work alongside her brother and Director of Lever Law Dale; to lead the company to every success.

In her spare time Jade is a busy mum to two children. She loves to socialise with friends and explore new places with her husband and children. 

GRACE COWLING – Conveyancer

Grace started working for Countrywide, a large corporate estate agent at the beginning of 2015 in the sales department. Grace was then offered a position working in Dubai for a real estate company in June 2016 for a year. Upon her return to the UK in 2017, Grace re-joined Countrywide until she was offered the great opportunity to join Lever Law as a Conveyancer in July 2019.

Grace understands that any legal matter can be emotional, frustrating and stressful. Equally it can be exciting and enjoyable. She prides herself on having the patience to go through every small detail so that the client has no worries, and believes that no question is a silly question!

In her spare time, Grace is a busy mum to her little boy. She loves to spend time with her family and dog Dudley. She really enjoys shopping and exploring new places on holiday with her husband, Joe.

JULIE ANDERSON – Legal Secretary

Julie has worked in and around Law firms for the duration of her career. Starting in the accounts department for a large firm of solicitors based in Sunderland, she moved into the litigation then the conveyancing admin team. With her experience in these different aspects of legal work, she is greatly equipped to assist our Clients. After several years away bringing up her young family, Julie eventually returned to work as a Legal Secretary from 2002 until she joined Lever Law in 2019.

Julie understands the importance of good client relationships; ‘Moving home or buying a first home is a very anxious and stressful time for people and like to think that I can talk to clients and explain the process of buying/selling a property and put them at ease in a friendly manner’.

Away from the office, Julie likes to spend time with family and friends. Julie also enjoys going to the theatre and socialising with friends who she met at her first job over 40 years ago.

HARVEY LEVER

Harvey is the resident office dog, owned by founder Dale Lever. Harvey is a Cavapoochon (1/4 Bichon Frise, 1/4 Cavalier Spaniel and 1/2 Poodle). His addition to the office helps to create a relaxed environment for those clients who may feel nervous or anxious about legal work. Harvey’s hobbies include walking along the Riverbanks of Durham and playing with his toys.
