Lever Law Team

Director born and raised in Durham, Dale founded Lever Law in 2019 in a bid to create a friendly, professional and easily accessible Law Firm for the residents of Durham. After undergoing extensive training during his time studying Law in Leeds, he went on to completing a LLM Masters in Sports Law nearer home in Newcastle. In his spare time Dale likes to keeping fit by skiing and running, and can often be found exploring the local riverbanks aided by his energetic office dogs Harvey & Reggie. He also enjoys travelling, ticking off new cities and countries with his wife when he can.

Jade joined Lever Law in 2021 having previously studied Business and Human Resource Management in Leeds before working in several HR, Billing and Litigation roles. Now Finance and Operations Director, Jade is proud to work for the family company. Having managed teams previously she has the right skills and attributes to work alongside her brother to lead the company to every success.

Grace’s career started as an Estate Agent in 2015, which saw her working in Dubai for a real estate company in 2016. Upon her return to the UK she continued in this area until she joined Lever Law as a Conveyancer in 2019. Grace understands that any legal matter can be emotional, frustrating and stressful - equally it can be exciting and enjoyable. She prides herself on having the patience to go through every small detail so that the client has no worries, and believes that no question is a silly question!

Julie has worked in and around Law firms for the duration of her career. Starting in the accounts department for a large firm of solicitors in Sunderland, she moved into the litigation, then the conveyancing admin team. With her vast experience in these different aspects of legal work, she is greatly equipped to assist our clients. After several years away bringing up her young family, Julie eventually returned to work as a Legal Secretary in 2002 until she joined Lever Law in 2019. Julie understands the importance of good client relationships; ‘Moving home or buying a first home is a very anxious and stressful time for people. I like to think that I can talk to clients and explain the process of buying or selling a property, putting them at ease in a friendly manner’.

Michelle joined Lever Law in September 2022, looking for a new challenge following 14 years in education. It has always been her desire to work in an office based administrative role. Michelle brings a variety of skills to the team and ensures all initial lines of communication are dealt with in a timely manner. She has a friendly personality and is always at the other end of the phone to answer any queries which arise.

Joseph joined the team in 2025 having recently finished his Law degree at Northumbria University. Eager to progress in the legal field, he joined Lever Law and was quickly granted a training contract. Joseph is looking forward to the challenges ahead and hopes to qualify as a solicitor in the near future.

Harvey is the resident office dog, owned by founder and Director Dale Lever, and has been in the office since day one. He is a Cavapoochon which means he is 1/4 Bichon Frise, 1/4 Cavalier Spaniel and 1/2 Poodle. His addition to the office helps to create a relaxed environment for those clients who may feel nervous or anxious about legal work. Harvey’s hobbies include walking along the Riverbanks of Durham, eating and sleeping!

Reggie is an apprentice to Harvey and recently joined the Lever Law team in June 2025. Reggie is a Cavapoo which means he is 1/2 Cavalier Spaniel and 1/2 Poodle. He loves nothing more than sprinting into the office on a morning to great every one of his colleagues making sure everyone gives him a tummy tickle. Once tickle time is over he is quick to get back to his apprentice duties!
